摘 要从我国英语教学环境来看,课堂教学仍是中学生学习语言的重要途径,尤其是在一些农村地区。自然语言的缺失决定了教师在语言教学中有着不可替代的作用。因此,英语教师成为教学实施过程中提高教学和学习效果的关键因素。本文以调查问卷方式,对周口地区中学英语语音教学缺失与学生听力教学现状进行了解(以周口鹿邑金锋学校为例),发现英语教师在教学过程中存在语音教学缺失,使学生在听力的过程中存在听力理解障碍。通过调查,发现影响听力的语音因素有音位,重音,语调和连音。针对以上几个方面提出了具体解决问题的方法。29245

Abstract
Because of the English teaching environment of our country, the classroom teaching is an important way for students to learn a second language. The lack of natural environment determines that the teacher plays an irreplaceable role in language teaching. So the English teachers become the key factors in the process of improving the level of teaching and the efficiency of students’ study. Thus, in order to know the current situation of English phonetics and listening teaching, a questionnaire survey was taken in Jin Feng School, Lu Yi County. According to the results of the survey, we find that there is a lack of phonetics teaching which leads to students’ listening comprehension barriers. Many phonetics problems exist in listening like phoneme, stress, intonation and linking. Some specific approaches are pointed out to solving those problems.

The Analysis into the Relation of the Lack of Rural Middle School Students’ English Phonetics Teaching and Their Listening Comprehension Barriers
I. Introduction
With the development of the society, English learning has got more and more attention. It refers to listening, speaking, reading and writing. However, as a result of the exam-oriented education, reading and writing become the core of English education while listening and speaking are ignored. In most rural middle schools, English teachers think that phonetics and listening teaching are hard to begin. As Henan English College Entrance Examination and High School Entrance Examination don’t refer to phonetic knowledge, teachers think that high school students, even primary and middle school students should focus on the learning of “reading” and “writing” rather than “speaking” and “listening”so that students can obtain the ideal results in examinations.
