与对照组SC(饲料/水/30%蔗糖溶液)相比,低氧暴露极显著降低低氧组SH(饲料/水/30%蔗糖溶液)大鼠体重、饲料摄入量,极显著增加总能量摄入。
Abstract
Adequate intake of palatable foods might is a simple and effective new way for easing hypoxic stress responses. Therefore, this experiment, using SD male rats as experimental subjects and a closed vacuum chamber to simulate hypoxic environment at 3000 meters above sea level and the Elevated plus maze test and Open field test to detect the anxious behaviors and activities of SD male rats, investigates the effects of palatable foods to the stress behaviors of hypoxic rats.
Experimental Results:
1. Compared with the control group C(chow/water), hypoxic exposure significantly reduced body weight, food intake and total energy intake of hypoxic group H(chow/water) rats. Compared with the control group SC(chow/water/30%sucrose), hypoxic exposure significantly reduced body weight, food intake and increased total energy intake in the hypoxic group SH(chow/water/30%sucrose) rats. But, there is no significant difference with respect to body weight in the hypoxic group SH rats compared with the previous hypoxia.
2. Compared with the control group, hypoxic exposure significantly increased sucrose/saccharin intake in the hypoxic group SH/HH (chow/water/0.1%saccharin) rats.
3. In the Elevated plus-maze test, the open arm time and open arms entries were significantly reduced in the hypoxic group H rats compared with the previous hypoxia. The open arm time and open arms entries were a slight decrease in the hypoxic group SH/HH rats, the difference was not significant. And, hypoxic exposure significantly increased the elevated plus maze immovable time in hypoxia group H rats. The elevated plus maze immovable time was a slight increase in the hypoxic group SH/HH rats, the difference was not significant.
