在雷达系统的研制过程中,往往需要高性能的稳定可靠的雷达目标回波模拟器,以便对后续的雷达信号处理机进行测试评估。雷达目标回波模拟器是实现对目标及其环境模拟的一种重要的仿真设备。
本文介绍了一种基于FPGA的实现一种多功能可配置的多通道雷达目标回波模拟器系统。产生雷达信号波形有多种技术,本文采用DDS技术模拟产生雷达线性调频回波信号,并使用Matlab对雷达回波信号进行处理,来验证回波模型的正确性,然后讨论了雷达目标模拟器系统中FPGA的设计,主要解决了如何利用DDS产生线性调频信号,同时验证硬件电路的可行性。调试的结果表明,雷达目标模拟器系统在DDS方面完全达到了预期的指标要求和功能要求。

Title FPGA programming implementation of Multi-channel echo radar target simulator
Abstract
With the development of the radar signal simulation technology, radar signal simulators have become an important part in radar technology. Compared to the field test, Radar simulation technology is more flexible, and relatively low cost. For that, radar simulators are widly used in Radar debugging, performance evaluation and Algorithm validation. This paper discusses a radar simulator for the design and implementation.
In the research process of radar system, we often require a high-performance and reliable radar target echo simulator in order to carry out testing and evaluation. Radar target simulator is a kind of important simulation device which can achieve the target echo and the environment simulation.
This paper discusses how to achieve a versatile and configurable radar target echo simulator system based on FPGA. Modern radar theory provides a variety of techniques to generate radar signal, this article uses DDS technology to generate radar signal waveform. And use of Matlab for radar signal processing, to verify the correctness of the echo model, and then discuss the radar target simulator system which is designed by FPGA, mainly to solve how to use the DDS generated chirp signal, and to verify the feasibility of the hardware circuit. Debugging results show that radar target simulator system is entirely in the DDS to achieve the desired targets and functional requirements.
